SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Where do you ship from?

We are based in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. All orders will ship from our office in Whitehorse.

When will my order ship?

All orders will be shipped within 2 business days of the order being received (excluding weekends and holidays).

How will my order be packaged?

All items are packaged in small gift boxes and bubble mailers to ensure every item reaches its destination safely.

How will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped by Canada Post Airmail.

How long will shipping take?

All orders are shipped by Canada Post Airmail. There are shipping upgrades available at checkout if you need it sooner than times listed below.

USA 7 to 10 business days
Latin America 3 to 6 weeks
North Africa 2 to 4 weeks
Middle East 2 to 4 weeks
Asia Pacific 2 to 4 weeks
Australia, New Zealand 10 to 21 business days
Other International 10 – 20 business days (shipping information will be sent with the order confirmation)

** Estimated delivery times are provided by Canada Post. These are only estimates and delivery times can be affected by increased mail volume around holidays, extreme weather, customs processing and postage strikes.

CUSTOMS FEES AND DUTY: All customs fees and duties are the responsibility of buyer. These fees can be quite high in some countries especially on packages arriving in the UK.

What will shipping cost?

Shipping cost will be calculated when orders are placed. If shipping paid is higher than actual cost of shipping, you will receive a refund once the order is shipped.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a email notification. In this email there will be a link to the tracking for your parcel. Please allow for a couple days for tracking to be activated by the post office.

The tracking on my order says that it has been delivered and it has not been?

If your tracking number shows that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, we suggest that you do the following:

  • Verify that the order shipping address is correct
  • Look for an attempted delivery notice slip from your postal service
  • Double check your deck, entry, etc for where it may have been left in a discrete or ‘hidden’ place.
  • Check with your neighbours or others in the residence to see if they accepted the parcel.
  • Allow another 1-2 to pass … in rare cases, postal services mark an item delivered before it actually arrives at the address.

If your parcel still does not arrive after all these efforts, please contact A Pocket of Posies and we will try to track down your parcel.

Do I have to pay VAT - Customs Duties and Import Taxes?

Buyers are responsible for any and all customs duties and import taxes that may apply on entry into your country. These fees are calculated by your country when your item(s) arrive in your country. They will be collected upon delivery from the postal service. These are not ‘shipping fees’.

VAT - UK customers Buyers in the UK may receive a notice for collection of customs duty fees/import taxes that are calculated by your countries customs for items imported. Unfortunately, these fees can be very high and are charged to residents of the UK on items you import into your country. Your customs may also charge a 'service fee' for collecting these duties and taxes.

How can I create and account?

You can also create and account during the checkout process. We suggest creating an account, so you easily view your order history. It will also allow you to checkout quicker in the future.

How can I return an item?

Please contact us to arrange returns and to receive instruction for the return.

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • Ship back the item within 21 days of delivery

** Custom and personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Conditions of Return

Buyers are responsible for the return shipping costs. The item must be returned in the original gift box and protective packaging to ensure that the item arrives back in new/unworn condition. If the item is not returned in its original new condition, the buyer is responsible for the loss of value.

I forgot to use my promo code when I placed my order. What do I do?

Promo codes must be used at the time of checkout and cannot be applied to orders after they are completed. We are unable to adjust orders if the promo code is not applied by the customer at checkout.

How do I add a photo to a locket?

** This is a good guide for how to add a photo to your locket.... I would scan the locket for the tracing outline. The paint may get a bit messy!

Do you engrave and personalize lockets?

We do not offer personalization, engraving or adding photos to the lockets.

How do I care for my gold/silver plated jewelry?

Gold/Rose Gold/Silver Plated Jewelry Info and Care

Plated jewelry pieces are comprised of a gold or silver layer bonded to a brass structure. Due to this process, it is normal for the plating to fade over time. Many factors affect the rate at which the plating fades. It can be caused by the frequency of wearing, acidity of your skin, and activities you participate in while wearing the jewelry.

To keep your jewelry sparkling and to minimize signs of wear avoid having the jewelry contact water; remove before showering or swimming. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens or any other chemicals. After wearing your jewelry, clean it with a dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place.
